An associate photographer is someone that provides photography services on behalf of a company. As the owner and operator of PD Photography, I do not take lightly the trust that my couples have in me. This is why I ensure that all of my associates are experienced professionals who’s approach to photographing weddings is synonymous to mine.

what is an associate photographer?

While every couple wants a skilled photographer, the reality is that many couples have a photography budget that they have to adhere to. Often times, that budget determines the level of photographer they’re able to hire. The downside to this is that, in the wedding industry, having a lower budget typically equals having less experienced vendors. This is not the case with our associate photographers. 

A key benefit to our associate package is that they are priced at a lower cost than if you were to hire me, Phylicia, to photograph your wedding day. However, this isn’t because they aren’t qualified. It’s mainly due to the fact that they don’t have to bare the cost of running the business operations themselves. In other words, while my associate will be your wedding photographer, all wedding consultations, image editing and product delivery will be fully handled by my company. This way, you’re still able to have the PD Photography experience from start to finish.
